Zombie Monkey

A little something that I’ve had sitting in my sketch pad for a while. I finally decided to do him up right. He’s mostly inspired by the album art for White Zombie’s Astro Creep album that I’d spend hours oogling during my formative years. I tried some different shading and hi-lighting techniques, and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. The illustration is for sale. Gray Robot

This rather blandly titled illustration is the latest installment of my “do something with your doodles” series. Like all good things, this guy started out as an idle sketch while I was mostly preoccupied with something else.  I kind of had the idea to do something really simple and retro looking as I was doodling. Doom Kitty

A couple of weeks ago I scanned in a notebook’s worth of old sketches with the intention of rendering some of these out to finished pieces.
