Intergalactic Bling

Scientists have begun using infrared telescopes to detect diamonds in space. Diamonds are carbon-based materials so scientists want to discover how these diamond form in conditions so unlike that of our their Earthly cousins. Don’t get your hopes up though, “About 25,000 of them would fit in a grain of sand.” So, your baby won’t be sporting space bling just yet.
