I was all excited to download the New Xbox Experience tonight so I could start watching some movies over Netflix. I mean really who wouldn’t be excited about streaming The People Under the Stairs? After reading the updated details of the NXE this morning, it looks like I’ll have to upgrade my (Free) Silver account to the (Paid) Gold acciunt to access the Netflix functionality. Which is a bummer, since I could completely care less about the other aspects of the NXE, and I’m not big on online multiplayer. In the end, I suppose I will just have to suck it up and pay for the subscription sometime in the near future. Maybe by then Sony will quit being cod-lickers and re-allow access to their titles over the NXE service. I guess for tonight I’ll have to content myself by playing with my Avatar. :|
