Check out the trailer for Warner Bros. post apocalyptic flick Book of Eli which stars Denzel Washington, Gary Oldham, and Mila Kunis. The basic premise seems to be that Denzel has a book—which may or may not be the salvation of the desolate waste that earth has become—and Gary Oldham wants said book for some sort of dastardly reason. It’s up to Denzel to fight off the scum of the waste and protect this book.
I’ve never been a huge Denzel Washington fan—in fact the last movie of his that I can recall seeing is Fallen way back in ‘98—but Eli looks to be pretty good if for no other reason than most of this trailer looks to have been ripped straight from Fallout 3.
Keep your eyes pealed for Book of Eli to hit theaters on January 15, 2010.
