The newest version of my favorite browser has been release into the wild. Apple has posted the Beta release of Safari 4. From looking at the spec sheet Safari 4 isn’t a radical departure from v3, rather it offers refinement to both the front-end UI and back-end performance enhancements. As always, Safari is blazing the trail in adapting to the latest CSS technology with support for CSS Effects and CSS Canvases. This is particularly fun for Safari-friendly designers who like to sneak in little Easter eggs that only other Safari users will notice.
