Last.Fm has dug into your scrobbles and compiled their Best of 2008 Lists including Best New Artist, Best New Album, and Best Tracks of 2008. I don’t know if the results speak more of great new music or to the kind of people who use Last.FM to track their listening habits, but I was hardly surprised that the Best New Artist category was dominated by what I typically refer to as Sad-Bastard music (sorry Aaron 
). It was nice to see that bands like Does It Offend You, Yeah?, The Ting Tings and even my old standby Nine Inch Nails have made the list.
Now could someone please do me a favor by explaining the appeal of Coldplay?
