Well here's some irony--the used disc showed up, like two full months after I ordered it! Weird.

...so my order of a used copy of Mind Bomb got refunded--never showed up from mid-November! So if you do have that disc and I can manage to get it to read, would you want to bring it over on xmas? I'll try to get a clean rip. I found a 128 rip online, but it sounds crappy. I want to do a 320.

That's probably the case. If I recall, Animal Bag was pretty terrible. Their only real claim to fame was a brief appearance in the mid-90's teen-drama My So Called Life (which is still one of Ivy's favorite shows).

Funny, that's probably my old Mind Bomb disc, then! Heh. I probably gave it to the 'sis way back when. Possibly even Animal Bag, actually--I remember having a disc of theirs and a cassette, and I don't have the disc any more. I can't imagine listening to that again, though.

Hmm, pesky kids. I think we actually have Mind Bomb in our collection, though it might be scratched to hell. It's either that or Animal Bag that doesn't play.

But yeah, Machines of Loving Grace is tre' awesome. They pop up on soundtracks every now and then. I was listening to The Crow OST last week and was remembering how great their track Golgotha Tenement Blues is on there too. You know, come to think of it, you'd probably dig that album. Despite not liking the movie, the soundtrack has a lot if the bands you are into on it.

"Butterfly Wings" is one of my long-term favorite songs. That's really cool that it gets another chance to see the light of day.

Actually, that only leaves one other (similar) band from that era who I would love to see get another chance: Mind Bomb. One of the Ivsters friends walked on my Mind Bomb CD years ago when I had a bunch of crap on the 'rents porch--this must've been 1992 or something. Anyway, it wrecked the CD, and I never bought another one. And it's not online anywhere that I can see. So I just ordered a used copy for one cent plus shipping on Amazon last week, and I'll be rocking it again soon!
