That is why they are publicly opposing Proposition 8, which would amend California’s constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry. Apple has donated $100,00 as sign of support for the No on 8 campaign. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to anyone who remembers what their old logo used to look like
